Back in Time Explainer Animation

Triplet 3D collaborated with Back in Time Films to create an animation that explains the technology behind the hoverboard. This animation was used in a full-feature documentary about the movie Back to the Future. This exciting project launched after Triplet 3D was approached by director Jason Aron looking to create an animation with Greg Henderson of Arx Pax. Arx Pax are the inventors of the Hendo Hoverboard, a hoverboard that works by the use of Magentic Field Architecture.

This was the perfect partnership for a documentary exploring the cultural relevance of Back to the Future to modern technology. Directed by Jason Aron and commissioned by Back in Time Films, this animation explains decoupling structures from the earth as it relates to how these scientific ideas make a hoverboard float above the ground, for an exciting animation and launch of the Back in Time documentary.

Triplet 3D was responsible for the entire animation and lower third treatment.
